Abstract (EN)
This study, called Kastamonu - Devrenkani region Lepidoptera fauna, was conducted between years of 2016-2017 in order to determine the Lepidoptera fauna living on the borders of the Kastamonu District. There is no or limited literature in this region. The study was carried out in two stages as office and field work. Office studies include examining literature study which is done in Turkey and in the World. Light traps were used to collect the samples in the scope of the field studies. Following the field work the preparations and identifications of the moths were carried out in the laboratory. As a result of the study, 10 family (Nymphalidae (9), Pieridae (9), Satyridae (3) Hesperiidae (2), Lycaenidae (2), Papilionidae (2), Sphingidae (2), Geometridae Noctuidae (1), Zygaenidae (1)) were found.
