Microbilogical investigation of rainbow trout farms (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in Kastamonu

Abstract (EN)

In this thesis we investigate local rainbow trout farm in Kastamonu within provincial boundariesn which have been registered from Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. We collected some samples from rainbow trout (250g) is located on the farms for determination their microaerophylic pathogenic bacterial flora. The sample collection doing monthly and the samples transferred to laboratory within the ice box. After the external inspection, fishes ventral way were opened through an incision procedure and collect bacteriological samples from hematopoietic tissue. According to isolation results, we found some bacteria which are known fish pathogen, this are Aeromonas hydrophila, Lactococcus garviae, Vibrio anguillarum and Vibrio fluvialis. In addition to these results we isolated some bacteria belonging to Burkholderia cepacia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas fluorescens from the farm water.
