Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, the optimal conditions required for the removal of synthetic dye molecules from aqueous environments using solid phase extraction method have been determined. For this purpose, apple leaves were used as a bio-adsorbent. Factors such as solution pH, pH pzc study, analyte concentration, eluent type, sample volumes, the effect of foreign ions, dye matrix and column method were investigated to optimize the removal of dye molecules from the analyte solutions. The concentrations of synthetic dye molecules in aqueous environments were determined using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of synthetic dye molecules in real water samples.
