Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, excitonic systems are examined with quantumgenetic algorithms. Quantum Genetic Algorithms arebased on Genetic algorithms and they are more efficient thanGenetic Algorithms for the solutions of the quantummechanical systems. Also in this thesis, these systems areexamined with the conventional optimization algorithms likeVariational Monte Carlo (VMC), Simulated Annealing(SA), Genetic Algorithms (GA) for comparison of theefficiency and determination of the weakness/strongness of quantumgenetic algorithms.
