Abstract (EN)

The importance attached to participation banks and participation banking in Turkey is increasing in the recent period. Interest-free banking, which took its place in the financial system after the second half of the 20th century in the world, started to take its place in the financial system with increasing share in Turkey in the last 20 years. From this point of view, in this study, the data on the development of participation banking in Turkey and in the world and panel data analysis method in Turkey between the years of 2010-2017 for three-month periods shows that the funds used by the participation banks are on the real macroeconomic indicators (import, export, interest rate, economic Growth, gross domestic product, employment, household consumption expenditures and investments) were analyzed. The analysis showed that the funds used by the participation banks affect the foreign trade of the Turkish economy positively in terms of employment and supply and demand ceiling indicators.
