Abstract (EN)
Today, the development of technology has brought the need to design models that are similar to real systems. This has increased the work done on time delay systems. It is not possible to obtain the mathematical model precisely since the systems with time lag have infinite poles. Therefore, some approaches are used to obtain the mathematical model of time delay. Thus, a linear and time-invariant mathematical model of time delay is obtained. After this expression of time delayed systems, it is aimed to control the coefficient diagram method. In this thesis, it is aimed to introduce the coefficient diagram method by examining the properties of time delay systems and to make various applications for use in these systems. Coefficient diagram method gives good results in control of time delay systems. Thanks to the design procedure it has, the coefficient diagram method is designed without complicated systems with a very complex structure. The coefficient diagram method designs simple controllers that provide the desired parameters for time delay systems. Mathematical models are given by explaining the structure of time delay systems. As a result of various approaches, approximate models that are linear and do not change over time were found. The coefficient diagram method design procedure has been explained and applied to time delay systems. Approaches of time delay systems in different structures have been taken and controller design has been made with coefficient diagram method. Control system design results are examined graphically. In the design of the system with the coefficient diagram method, it has been determined that the closed loop response is wear-free, durable and the settlement time is low. However, system breakdown effects have been quickly resolved. Also, since the design procedure of the coefficient diagram method is easy and systematic, good results have been obtained in the application of time delay systems.
