Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study, luminescence properties of kammererite is examined. For this reason the the optical absorption and luminescence spectra of kammererite obtained from the Erzincan-Kop Mountain region are measured. Before the thermoluminescence measurements, mineral is heated in order to erase the effect of natural radiation on gemstones. The samples exposed to different doses of X-ray are taken TL spectra in the range of 50-400 ° C temperature. The cathodoluminescence (CL) spectrum of kammererite are investigated in the range of 250-800 nm at 300 K using the electron beam of 24 keV enegry. Also, the scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analysis are done. The detailed knowledge about of kammererite are obtained with these analyses. It was obtained TL peaks at 102, 148, 224, 305 oC for kammererite which seem to be a triclinic structure with SEM photographs. The wide emission band is observed in the red range of electromagnetic spectrum (698 nm) within the CL spectrum of sample. obtained at room temperature. In the optical absorption spectrum of the kammererite, a few absorption band is obtained at 1200,1330,1420 and 1720 nm. The elements constituent of kammererite are determined with XRD and EDS analyses.According to the study of literature, thermoluminescence, optical absorption properties and characterization analysis of kammererite are not found. Therefore, this study is expected to provide a contribution to the creation of such an inventory.Key words: Kammererite, Thermoluminescence, Cathodoluminescence, Optical absorption, SEM, XRD,EDS.
