Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, self-compacting concrete (SCC) plays an important role in concrete technology. Especially the most important advantage of SCC is high workability due to the developments in additive technology. High compactness ratio, lower permeability and durability performance achieved by higher strength are the other advantages of SCC when hardened concrete properties are considered. Several different testing methods are developed for the determination of the appropriate flow properties of the SCC due to specific design parameters. These methods are used to determine the filling, flow, passing and viscosity properties of the fresh SCC. In this regard, determination of the behaviour of fresh SCC rather than testing methods by numerical modeling is a new field. This thesis is intended to study the experimental data obtained from numerical modeling of flow behavior of fresh concrete. Modeling done primarily homogeneous fluid acceptance PUK numerical simulation rheometer, L-box, V-funnel and J-ring should be calculated by comparing with the results obtained in experimental fluid dynamics (CFD) the accuracy of the model and accuracy will be tested. Later existing CFD model, containing the appropriate aggregate effect of a "particle transport model" including the more realistic numerical simulations will be carried out by the SCC. Thus, in laboratory experiments in the geometry of the PUK and the conditions to be able to practice, based on results obtained by numerical simulation way to be able to determine the appropriate mix of rheological parameters for the PUK. Thus, the determination to achieve the intended advance in the CFD method through standard laboratory tests, depending on the size of the effect which can not be applied geometry and SCC will be possible to reduce the risk of changing segregation and blockage.
