The culture of kinship and neighbourhood in the process of urbanization (Afyonkarahisar sample)

Urban is an heterogeneous community which contains various ethnic cultural occupation andeconomic groups. As to urbanization, it can be evaluated as a fact which is a form of an economicchange, and a fact which has demographic and social meanings.In our country, it can be clearly seen that urbanization is not an absolute populationmovements. As Kemal Kartal says ?it can be evaluated as a ravel whose one pole in urban area and theother in the rural area, and condensation in a urban area or an movement event.?In the urbanization process, to scrutinize the neighbourhood and kinship ( as in AfyonKarahisar example) are the basis of this survey. The subjects studied are the social demographicprofiles of the citizens of Afyon Karahisar and their urbanization problems and the effects of kinshipon social changes.Key words are urban, urbanization, social change and urban, kinship and neighborhoodcultures.
