Abstract (EN)

This study tries to clarify the transformation of the `Alavi? religious identity in theurbanization process based on Ankara `Alavi?s. `Alavism? is a close socialorganisation as a distant peripheric movement far from center. This socialorganization has created institutions on religious dimension and traditional Alavismhas been constituted in these institutions.In the urbanization process, when `Alavi?s that came to cities from rural areas haddeprived of these institutions, social organization and religious identity of traditional`Alavism? had been disintegrated.In our research, what kind of transformations had occured in the religious system,worship form and social structure of `Alavism? was tried to explain.
