Abstract (EN)
There are various exams held every year in our country. One of these exams, the High School Entrance Exam (LGS), continued to be applied during the epidemic period. Students preparing for the exam usually go through a process full of stress and anxiety. The fact that this exam was carried out in a period full of uncertainties during the epidemic period has caused various psychological, social and economic problems. The study was carried out to examine the problems experienced by children preparing for the exam during the epidemic period, both individually and in the family. During the pandemic period, conflicts with the families of senior secondary school students who were preparing for the High School Entrance Exam (LGS) were revealed. In addition, results have been revealed about how children are affected by social, economic, technical and psychological aspects. The most common conflict between the parents and the child and the anxiety experienced during the epidemic period were determined. As a result of the study, it was found that the subject in which the children had the most conflict with their families during the epidemic was studying, and the positive exam attitude of the parents improved the relationship with the child in a positive way. The difficulties experienced by the students during the epidemic process are listed as being in the same environment all the time, not being able to see their friends, and not trusting oneself about the exam information. It is seen that children have negative emotions and thoughts economically, socially and psychologically. Keywords: family, child, conflict, covid-19, epidemic process
