Abstract (EN)
It is crucial to have knowledge about the epidemiology and molecular mechanisms of resistance against the antiseptics and disinfectants beside the growing antibiotic resistance with regard of preventing in particular hospital acquired infections. Borderline of 2 countries, Turkey and Syria, and intensive migration to our region from Syria are the main causatives of change on the endogenous flora and resistance profiles of microorganisms in time. In this study it was observed the antiseptic and disinfectant resistance genes of staphylococcus which were isolated from different polyclinics and services of our hospital, determined clonal and phylogenetical relationships by spa typing and PFGE. Strains which were isolated from different materials routinely in our laboratory are identified by bacteriologic methods and Vitek 2 automatised system and scaned with respect of qacA/B and qacC genes. Specified MRSA strains had been subjected to spa typing and PFGE and evaluated by Ridom software programme. QacA/B genes were existed % 76 of MRSA isolates while qacC rate was % 57. These 2 genes were co-existed on the strains with a range of % 41. According to PFGE findings there were determined 5 big clusters and 15 sub-clusters. t223 spa type was epidemiologically dominant with a range of % 31. It was estimated that the t223 is the dominant spa type with a range of % 31 with respect to genotypic investigations, antibiotic resistance profiles and due to be in the group of nosocomials and also was thought it is the Syrian clon. t1347 and t105 were evaluated as community originated spa types in ratio of % 10 of each. It is thought to be beneficial using spa typing methods with Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis in short-term epidemic studies, in the research of long-term clonal relations and also using this study with more examples and for longer time to monitor community and hospital associated clones.
