Abstract (EN)
From the beginning the 20th Century, fact of climate change, due to increase in emissions of greenhouse gases to Earth?s atmosphere as a result of increase in welfare and change in consumption patterns, has reached to a level causing unexpected and dramatic impacts on environment and posterity. Energy policies that promote technologies which reduce CO? concentrations in the atmosphere to minimum levels have a key role at the solution of climate change problem. The aim of this study is to evaluate the country?s potential while theprevention of methane emissions from coal mines by various processes in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and recovery of methane to be introduced as an alternative energy source to country?s economy are being considered as basic approaches. Within this context, in terms of climate change concerns and diversity in energy sources, preferable and feasible advantages of methane drainage projects have been examined by performing calculations based on a ample workplace?s methane gas emission measurement results.Key Words : Greenhouse Gas, Coalbed Methane, Energy
