The Effect of working capital (credit-money-stock) management in encampink managements on profitable of establishment

As a parallel to developments in World tourism, there have beensignificant developments in Turkish tourism in recent years. Thesedevelopments have caused new changes in performing the functions ofmanagement. This thesis comprises of six chapters.In the first chapter, the management and financial structure of hotelestablishments have been investigated. In this chapter, it is emphasized that thesuccess of management functions and operations has depended on financialsources. Therefore, their roles and importance in the management of hotelestablishments has been emphasized as well.In the second chapter, working capital management in hotelestablishments has been investigated. Firstly, the elements of working capitaland finance and the kinds of working capital, have been taken into account.Secondly, determination of the optimal working capital, thus achievingproductivity in working capital has been mentioned. Thirdly, the importance ofbudgets and financial analysis (ratios) as a means of management in workingcapital management has been emphasized. Then, working capital managementpolicies have been investigated.In the third chapter, credit management, which has an important placein achieving productivity of working capital management, has been mentioned.Classification of credits which will result an effective monitoring process andauditing of credits within the business and policies of money received, havenbeen taken into accountIn the forth chapter, determination of the optimum amount of cash,money policies, the models of cash management, foreign current markets andthe activity of the cash management to the management of the working capital.In the fifth chapter, stocks in hotel establishments, conditions ofpurchase, the management of stock and the activity of stock management toworking capital management.In the sixth chapter, a field study based on survey has been made aboutachievement of productivity of working capital in hotel establishments.KEY WORDS: 1) Credit Management 2) Money Management 3) StockManagement
