Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is comparing the accuracy of the planimetric methods on volume estimations by using cone beam computed tomography. The prepared intraosseous bone defects in bovine femur condyles were scanned with cone beam computed tomography. The defect volumes were estimated with point counting, manual segmentation and semi automatic segmentation at 0.3 mm section thickness. The estimated volumes of manual segmentation and semi automatic segmentation were compatible with the volumes of Archimedes method (p>0.05).
