Religion education of the children in need of protection

The Religion İslam figures the child as a candidate creature holding the flag of humanity and gives precision on his education and care. According to our religion, the child?s education and care is provided by his father and mother when this is not available the government takes the responssibility. In our country the children mentioned above (childrens in need of protection) whose protection and growth are governmentally held, is done with the well-defined law by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Family and Social Policies. The children under responsibility of the government is named as `?The Childrens in Need of Protection??. Childrens in need of protection encounter with many problems so that in our country this issue should be considered as a separate group.The childrens in need of protection whose guidance and needs are fulfilled by different methods since our Prophet?s era to nowadays either by publics or governments.The ignored or accordingly unmet moral needs of the childrens in need of protection are considered in aspect of the religion education that brings up solution, is handled by this Study.However we have reached many psycho-social problems at the end of our investigations. The most seen problems are as followed; growth retardation due to life standarts, distortion in human affairs/relations, identity confusion, insecurity, fear and anxiety states, hopelessness about the future, low levels of self esteem, pessimism, feel of exclusion, guilty behaviors, unfavaorable habits, inward fight, spiritual incompatibility and depression.Religion gratifies the human wishes and needs such as love, to be loved, trust, shelter, binding and appreciate. The humanbeing who learns and experiences his religion is more healthy on mental and strong. Moreover he is undaunted against the bad events, he never behaves or acts inconveniently. In fact that the childrens in need of protection come across bad events of life early ages so it is a must to provide religion education to those children. Our Study aims to show that systematic and continuous religion education play a big role to find solutions for the problems arising because of negative circumstances or experiencing speccial situations those the children in need of protection coming across.When the children in need of protection are taught of belief basics they will be peaceful spiritually and will be more controlled with their behaviors. Whether they learn to turn their believes to prayers the pleasant sensation and ideas inspired them by religion will be their personality.
