Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the mean gray value of the pixels by processing the images of the uterus taken from daily ultrasonic images during the sexual cycle and in the early days of pregnancy by processing them in the image analysis program and determining how this value changes according to the days of the cycle and the pregnancy period. At the same time, progesterone analyzes of blood are taken during the cycle and in the first days of pregnancy. For this purpose, 100 Merino sheep, aged 2-3 years old, synchronized to the estrus were used grown in Bahri Dağdaş International Agricultural Research Institute. In sexual cycle and the early period of pregnancy, MGL values of the endometrium of uterine and blood progesterone values were evaluated statistically. The progesterone values obtained in the study were found to be consistent with the literature reports in both oestrus cycle and first 17 days of pregnancy. The relationship between MGL values obtained in estrous cycle and day was found to be important in logarithmic order and at P <0.05 level. In the first 17-day period of pregnancy, the degree of the relationship between MGL values and pregnancy day was examined and it was found that the relation was important for all equations (linear, logarithmic, quadratic, cubic). As a result; It was concluded that the mean gray values obtained from sheep uterine during early pregnancy can be used as an adequate criterion in the diagnosis of early pregnancy.
