Abstract (EN)

The aim of study is examining the luminescence and optical properties of chrysoprase mineral. The luminescance properties of studied chrysoprase mineral. The luminescance properties of the mineral were investigated by taking TL and CL spectrum. In order to examine the optical properties of the chrysoprase mineral , optical absorption spectrum and SEM images were taken. For analys ing the substances contained by the mineral, ICP-AES techniques were used. As result of these analysis %96.7 SiO2, %2,57 Fe2O3, %33 ppm Ni, %13,2 Rb, 1660 ppm Cr slightly rare earth elements were determined. Major element impruty, which is in the chystal are analyzed by using Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (ESEM) and X-Ray Energy Dispersive System (EDS) methots. Additionaly, by using Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES) method. The iron phases such as cromit, hematite, and anatase were determined. On the other hand, the Raman spectrum of the impurities which ate inside the material were discusses in detail. Also, XRD data were taken and compared with in the literature ones. Keywords: Chrysoprase, Luminescence, Raman, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Microscope (SEM), Inductively Caupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES)
