Abstract (EN)
In this study, the Knelson Gravity Concentrator possessing to centrifugal force, which is in recovering chromium from shaken table device wastes of chromium enrichment plant, effective in materials in having density difference and in fine grain size, was used. Within the scope of the research, 2.28 % Cr2O3 grade wastes were used under 1 mm grain size. In the study, experiments were carried out at 3 different G forces (90 G, 120 G and 150 G), under the 2 psi, 4 psi, 6 psi and 8 psi water pressures, 4 different grain fractions and at 25 - 30 % solid/liquid proportion to be determined. At the end of the tests, optimum operating conditions, - 212 micron grain size material; 90 G, under the 8 psı water pressure, 21.5 % Cr2O3 grade and 73.18 % recovery, with the same grain size, 120 G force, under the 8 psi water pressure, 19.7 % Cr2O3 grade, 69.99 % Cr2O3 recovery pre concentrated.
