Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of the thesis is to give evidence of the different approaches offered by dynamic and standard based calculation of short-circuit currents and to remind the specific fields of application and the limits of them. Afterwards, in order to compare short circuit current event of a fault 3 phase simetrical short circuit, two widely adopted international standards (IEC 60909 and ANSI / IEEEC37.010.1999 Standards) and a simulation program Matlab Simulink are investigated in this thesis, also detailed calculation studies have done for TS EN 60909 and TS IEC-TR 363 which is adopted as Turkish Standards.
