Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the effect of the variation of the vertical blade angles and tip spans of the small Delta Type Darrieus Wind Turbine with a power capacity of 100 W, which is suitable for use in residential areas and at points where electricity does not reach, on the turbine efficiency has been investigated. The force values of the delta type Darrieus wind turbine at different wind speeds obtained in the wind tunnel were calculated separately by dividing each blade into five parts by the blade element method and single-stream tube model. It has been investigated how the efficiency is affected by the experiments. The target values obtained with the calculations and the values obtained at the end of the experiment were compared, and it was observed that the efficiency decreased by decreasing the vertical blade angles of the blades with double, triple and quadruple blades. In the last part, the results of the experiment were discussed and some suggestions were made.
