Relativity of time in the Qur'an

In this study, the time verses in the Holy Qur'an and the concept of time, its control and use among beings in line with these verses have been analyzed. In this study on the relativity of time, the binding, importance, relativity and speed of movement of time on beings are analyzed. The subject of time has been studied based on a general evaluation and the interpretations made by the commentators in the Holy Qur'an. This study reveals the understanding of beings on the concept of time. Curious issues are presented by evaluating the interpretations from the past to the present. Allah's creation of time, His granting time to the creatures and His giving them dominion over them within this time are analyzed. The duration of the creation of the universe, the domination of time over the "angel, jinn, and human" species and the domination of time over these species have been tried to be explained by making comparisons. The notion of time, which is current according to human beings, has been tried to be explained by giving examples of the events mentioned in the Qur'an that take place outside the normal flow. The dominance of jinns and angels over time compared to humans and their speed of movement have been evaluated by comparison. The issues evaluated within the framework of space-time and matter-motion are explained with narrations. In the first chapter, Allah's creation of time and the angels' control over time are analyzed. In the second chapter, the perception of time and the dominance of jinns and humans are discussed. The speed of movement of other beings over time compared to humans is explained with the support of tafsir sources. Keywords: The Holy Quran, Tafsir, Time, Relativity, Angel, Jinn, Human.
