Abstract (EN)
It is possible to make the exchange rate risk that all businesses dealing with foreign currency face manageable. The level of knowledge and skill that finance managers have and the positive moves they make towards exchange rate risk will provide significant advantages to their businesses. The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of socio-economic factors, financial literacy level, behavioral tendencies, self-confidence, herd psychology levels of finance managers in the textile sector in Gaziantep on exchange rate risk. In the study, the convenience sampling method was applied with the application questionnaire on the textile sector in Gaziantep province. As a result of the study, it was observed that behavioral tendencies were effective on currency risk management. On the other hand, it has been observed that socio-economic factors such as gender and age have an effect on exchange rate risk management.
