Abstract (EN)

Globalization is a term that describes the increasing Human mobility, the circulation of information, goods (goods) and money (capital) beyond national borders. This term was popularized in the 1980s. In the world, this movement has given birth to the nation, in terms of population, economic, political, social and cultural dependence on each other. Although globalization is generally considered as an economic concept (e.g. global markets), this process has given birth to many social and political influences. The aim of this study was to investigate Turkey's position in the globalizing world, especially its relations with the giant economies in the globalizing world, and the importance of global markets. For this purpose, a total of 124 countries comprising 9 groups of countries were combined using KOF globalization index values to cover the 1970-2014 period.
