Reduction of global warming policies: Approach for Turkey

At the present day, one of early in environment problems which threaten the world is global warming. This subject that excite world-wide interest especially in recent was not rejected within in historical process although it has been a subject that has not been in the same camp of its reasons. Some of put down to it natural reasons, some of put down to it human activities. In present time however, the idea of human activities is become stronger predominantly. About 150 years, gases have been sending to atmosphere from fosil fuels and other sources, all these cause increase of greenhouse gases quantity. This causes increase in temperature and called `global warming?. Beside of environmental effects which global warming will cause also socioeconomic effects those related with environmental effects are important as we cannot ignore. Global warming will effect every parts of the world with different ways. Reduction of global warming will not be possible with only nationals? actions. The most important frame about global warming is Climate Change Framework Convention. The second is Kyoto Protocol which is continuation of Convention. Turkey became part of Convention in 2004 although it has not signed Protocol yet. Turkey which is among the most harmed countries by global warming must be part of global cooperation on this issue and reconsider policies that result in increasing global warming, and develop ones that mitigate effects of the problem.
