Glocalization

At the present time, people who live in the earth is in a rapid rural-urban migration. Therefore, the rate of urbanization continues to increase. Due to the increasing population, urbans are becoming the points of global competition. Urbans are also playing an active role on nations? economy, trading, technology and social activities. By the way, creating urban policy is one of the priorities of global states, central focus of power and global companies according the requirements of 21st century. Globalization and localization is one of the most discussed issues presently. It is obvious that globalisation as well as localisation are two main issues taking place after 1980s. The combination of ?globalisation? and ?localisation? creates the term of ?glocalisation? which is mostly internalized and used in the last years. It is seen that the management of the urbans are also switched from the power of nation-state statue to the control of multinational and also supranational private organisations within this period.
