Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, the size and complexity of corporate networks has increased considerably. The designs of enterprise networks are made by large-scale companies, universities, government agencies or other large organizations that own the network. Virtual local area networks (VLAN) are often used in the design of enterprise networks to improve network performance, facilitate security management, and provide address management. This work presents a new systematic approach to network traffic that is balanced across VLAN's in corporate networks. The recommended method for this approach is to dynamically change the VLAN membership of the nodes according to the total traffic in the VLANs with the same security level. One of the flexibility of this approach is that VLANs with a specific level of security must be members of the same VLAN for every node in the network that needs to be a member. According to this method, the number of VLANs that should be in the network can be set as parametric or constant prefix, and it is ensured that the members who create traffic in each VLAN are distributed approximately evenly. In this way, equal or near traffic values are generated in VLAN. In order to test the functionality of this method, a simple network management protocol (SNMP) based software has been developed and implemented in the real network environment to achieve the recommended objectives. The number of nodes per VLAN in the network and the VLAN broadcast traffic have been compared with studies involving a systematic network approach for corporate networks in the literature.
