Trancparency and its applicatons in Turkey in the light of corporate governance

Alteration, along with globalization start to occur in all fields. As long as alteration penetrates to community; individuals, groups, firms, international bodies, even governments and states are going to have to comply with the alteration. İt is thought that , one reason of recent financial crisis that people are facing even now is that , countries do not keep up the alteration of the world.As it is already known that a financial crisis that is lived in one country may turn into a gloabal crisis by crossing the border of the country when considering the glabolization of the world. Scandals that is lived in the middle of 1990s in the US, Europe and in various places in the world , turned upside down the capital market and drove big firms in to wall and as a normal consequence ıt damaged markets deeply. After the financial scandals in capital market countries had to make some legal regulations. The most important regulation that was done is? corporate governance? . The studies of the World Bank and OECD lead to improve corporate governance and then Turkey the principles of corporate governance were published by SPK.The principles of corporate governance published by SPK shows paralell with the principles of OECD corporate governance. These principles were first published by SPK in 2003 and then were revised in 2005. This study is based on SPK? s corporate governance principles and transparency.
