Abstract (EN)
The construction industry plays a crucial role in improving the living standards and quality of life in every country, as well as contributing significantly to the development of their economies. In this context, it is essential for everyone involved in the construction of a building to be informed about the global advancements and developments within the industry. Particularly, steel is widely preferred in developed countries due to its superior properties and is utilized more than other construction materials. This trend indicates the increasing importance of steel in the construction sector. The aim of this thesis is to conduct an experimental analysis of steel box-I section connections under cyclic loads at weak axis, examine the permissible section conditions, and compare these conditions with existing studies in the literature, all within the framework of the regulations.
