Khawarij according to the "al-Kutub al-Tis`ah"

ABSTRACT Kharijites, have been derived from the Islamic community. Khawarij is an Islamic sect whose the major problem is the political issues. For that reason the sect has been attracted the notice on itself. And in the period they emerged they have been attracted the mankinds anger on them because of their radical ideas and executions. For that reason the Kharijites have been gained being a sect who has enemies. Although they had emerged after the Prophet Muhammed's death, it is revealed lots of Traditions about them, as if Muhammed said. In this thesis we studied on the health of those Traditions. It is studied In the first section, the Kharijites' history, ideas and activities. it is discussed In the second section, the Khawarij's understanding the Tradition; and whether the Traditions invented for them. In the third and the major section it is ascerted the Traditions related, revealed in the al-Kutub al-Tis'ah; it is discussed the correctness of them. In the consequence, we have decided that those Traditions on Kharijites are set up by enemies of them after the Muhammed's death. VI
