Abstract (EN)
This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction and in the second chapter statistical convergence, statistical convergence with respect to power series method are recalled. Basic definitions, properties and theorems of positive linear operators, modulus of continuity and fractional calculus are also given. The third chapter is devoted to the trigonometric Korovkin and fractional trigonometric Korovkin theories. The fourth chapter includes original results and firstly fractional Korovkin type results obtained by statistical convergence are given. Also fractional Korovkin type results and examples are presented via statistical convergence with respect to a power series which is not included by previously known methods. In the last chapter by evaluating the obtained original results the contribution to the literature is mentioned.
