Abstract (TR)

In the present study, Mytilus galloprovincialis ( Lamarck, 1819 ) expanding in NorthAegean Costs between August 2002 - November 2003 and accumulated heavy metal ( Copper,Zinc, Lead and Cadmium ) levels in ambient sediments are examined. In the research according to findings provided, in the light of measured heavy metalanalysis; copper 6,36-219,56 ug/g ( raw weight ); lead 9,13-58,33 ug/g ( raw weight ); zinc10,43-250,77 ug/g ( raw weight ); cadmium 0,88 - 3,01 ug/g ( raw weight ) are found inthose given values. On the basis of measured heavy metals for M.galloprovincialis : copper 0,53 - 8,4 µg/gwet weight; lead , 0,53-7,96 µg/g wet weight, zinc 7,0-40,37 µg/g wet weight; cadmium0,86- 1,22 µg/g wet weight are found in those presented varying values. For Mytilus galloprovincialis and metlas in the sediments ANOVA-VARYANS analysishas been implemented. At the end of the variance analysis for the metals in the mussels andsediments differentiation between stations and periods have benn considered significant(p<0,05).The variance between the mussel and the time periods, variance between the stationsin the mussels; metal and periods in the sediments and variance of metals between the stationsin sediments were found by means of performing Turkey Test.Key Word:North Aegean Sea, Mytilus galloprovincialis ( Lamarck, 1819 ), sediments, heavy metal, copper, lead, zinc, cadmium .
