Abstract (EN)
In this study in which the moderator-mediator model was tested, It is aimed to test the model that assumes that the indirect effect of leader-member exchange (LMX) on innovative work behavior (IWB) through career satisfaction will depend on the industry experience of the employees. For this purpose, a field study was conducted on 302 people working in textile enterprises operating in the organized industrial zone of Denizli province. During the field research, convenience and snowball sampling methods were preferred. In addition, close contact with third parties was avoided due to social isolation and social distance rules, and a face-to-face survey method was applied in the form of question and answer. The applied questionnaires sought answers to two research questions developed within the scope of this research. These; (1) Does career satisfaction have a mediating role in the effect of LMX on IWB? (2) How does industry experience of textile employees regulate the indirect effect of LMX on IWB through career satisfaction? As a result of the research, firstly, it was found that the indirect effect of LMX on IWB through career satisfaction was significant. This result shows that as the positive interaction with the leader of the employee increases, career satisfaction will increase and indirectly IWB will be exhibited. Another important result obtained as a result of the research is that industry experience plays a moderating role in the impact of LMX on IWB through career satisfaction. This result shows that employees with high industry experience are less satisfied with their careers compared to those with low industry experience. In addition, this result indicates that the positive effect of LMX on IWB through career satisfaction is lower for employees with high industry experience.
