Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this survey, high school 2nd Course in Biology class, greenhouse effect, ozone layer and global warming issues in the review of the concept maps to teach students with learning these topics and concepts to investigate its effect on achievement and attitudes.Research was performed preliminary test - the last test with control group experimental design. As data collection tool to investigate the success of test and attitude scale were used. Developed measuring instruments were applied to 2007 - 2008 academic year spring training in the district of Ankara province Yenimahalle neutral from Yahya Kemal Beyatlı High School students selected as the 2nd Class were applied to 58 people.Experimental and control groups before the relevant experiments to determine the degree of their success similar to the experimental and control group pre-test experiment group applied 10_MF_B class students; 10_MF_A class students formed the control group. Experimental group 29 students, 29 students are in the control group.Practice with the students during the experimental group was prepared for expression of the concept map, the teacher-centered teaching methods applied in the control group; expression was made by traditional methods.Workings to the end of the last test were applied to both groups. Percentage of data, frequency, and the arithmetic average value was calculated, one-way analysis of variance and two-way analysis of variance was made. Experimental and control groups before the experiments before and after the experiment between test scores and achievement test was a significant difference. Experimental group students at the beginning and end of work-related attitudes scale was applied to the concept map, pre-test and final test a significant difference was found between attitude scores. As a result of the work group concept map with the control group with the expression from the experiment in terms of achievement and attitudes in favor of the experimental group were found to be a meaningful difference. Concept map of students, supporting training and is deemed to affect attitudes in a positive direction.Key Words; Concepts, Meaningful Learning, Concept Maps, Success, Attitude, Global Warming, Greenhouse Effect, Ozone Layer, Acid Rain.
