Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Lithium-Air, Battery, LATP membrane, Activation Energy, Ionic conductivity Lithium air cells with a specific energy density of approximately 11 kWhkg-1 and energy density very close to gasoline are of interest all over the world. One of the problems encountered in the development of lithium air cells is the understanding of the chemistry of the electrolytes used and the development of solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity values. In this study, it is aimed to produce Lithium Aluminum Titanium Phosphate based (LATP) lithium ion conductive glass ceramic membrane with high ionic conductivity which can be used in lithium air cells. In this thesis, LATP solid electrolytes were synthesized in powder form by using two different methods as sol-gel and melt-quenching methods and crystallization processes were carried out at different temperatures. The surface morphology of the produced LATP powders were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and phase analysis were implemented using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy analyzes. Crystallization temperatures were determined by differential thermal analysis method and parameters were optimized. Pelleted LATP powders were sintered at different temperatures and impedance measurements were performed at different temperatures and activation energy values and ionic conductivity values were calculated. In addition, ionic conductivity values were improved by adding sulfur to the LATP electrolytes
