Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of the impurities of the Ca(II) and ethyl alcohol on the growth rate of the lithium metaborate dihydrate in solid-liquid fluidized bed is examined on the conditions of the different excessive saturation. Also, the change in the growth rate of crystals of the lithium metaborate dihydrate depending on excessive saturation at 3 different temperatures between 45 and 60 oC, and different pH values of the saturated lithium metaborate dihydrate at the temperature of 45 oC. The Ca(II) impurity under lithium metaborate dihydrate solution causes the Ca impurity increase while, the linear growth speed of crystal's decrease. According to this result the constant total growth speed increases.In the case of the existence of the ethyl alcohol in the medium solution, growth speed of the crystals decreases compared to the pure medium when 500 ppm alcohol included, but in the case of the concentrations including more than aforementioned alcohol quantity, linear growth speed of the lithium metaborate crystals increase in line with excessive saturation. It is found that total growth rate of the all crystals of the lithium metaborate dihydrate, depending on the excessive saturation, increases in the existence of the so-called impurities. Additionally, when the solution of the lithium metaborate dihydrate is basic, crystals of the lithium metaborate dihydrate lessens rapidly.
