Abstract (EN)
Web Services are appropriate solutions for the integration of technologies into big and complex applications. They provide a standard interface independent from platform and technologies. Web Services are XML based set of standards to integrate software application systems using Internet technology. Web Services rely on pre-existing transport technologies and standard data formatting techniques for their implementation. Location Aware subject is about defining user location and behave according to this. Application gets and processes the location data. Sensor technologies for localization of objects and humans are many and complicated. People use many facilities that may indicate their location. These technologies can be divided into two classes, discrete and continuous. For continuous technologies, location is always available. For discrete, the location can be determined only at discrete points in time. Application developed for this theses, presents Web Service oriented enterprise architecture which provides access to Fault Management System for authorized users via embedded mobile device applications or mobile device browsers. Also, this architecture provides access for unauthorized subscribers to submit failure entries via mobile device browser by a web server. Application also presents using J2ME Web services of Fault Management System. This J2ME embedded side takes location data and use it as a parameter while calling the Web services.
