Abstract (EN)

As power struggle, politics may be definied as relationship between ruling and ruled. The conception of Tyranny has been asserted as a problematic. The topic of this thesis is examination of right to resistance against to tyranny over John Locke's and İmmanuel Kant's ideas. The method of the thesis is qualitative research on alalyzing the texts of main thinkers. In the conclusion, it is argued that while right to resistance is insignificant for Kant on behalf of prioritizing right to life against freedom; it is important for John Locke on behalf of prioritizing freedom.
