Abstract (EN)

In this study, the potential of Bursa province as a logistics base was investigated. The research was carried out according to the general screening model, one of the quantitative analysis methods. In this research, a questionnaire form consisting of 52 questions and 7 sub-dimensions was applied. In this context, surveys were applied to 56 logistics companies in Bursa. Cronbach's alpha value of the questionnaire was found to be highly reliable as 0.837. According to the data obtained as a result of the analysis, no statistically significant difference was found between the number of employees, warehouse capacity and scale at which the company operates in terms of scale scores. It has been determined that firms that have been operating for 50 years or more have higher score in "Problems with Outsourcing" than firms operating between 11 and 50 years. The "Things to do for Bursa to become a Logistics Base" score of companies with 20 and under working vehicles were found to be the lowest. In addition, as a result of the cross analysis, important results were obtained for the logistics companies operating nationally, internationally and both nationally and internationally. Key Words: Logistics, Logistics Base, Bursa
