Abstract (EN)
Harput, which is the well known historical and cultural place in Turkey, has a special music culture with certain people who needs researchers' attention. One of those people is Lokman Tasalı who was born in Harput and dedicate his life for culture and particularly traditional music of Harput. In addition to his works on Harput, he also attempted to find out and fix mistakes in lyrics and compositions in nationally known songs. The main goal of the current study is to investigate Lokman Tasalı's work in music and his life. Key Words: Lokman Tasalı, Harput Music, Compositions, Culture.
