Abstract (EN)
With the spread of chaos and instability in conflict areas, the need for a tracking system has increased. In this thesis, a design and implementation of a low-cost communication network is introduced. The designed system uses UHF/VHF for vehicle localization using custom APRS hardware built with off-the-shelf electronic components and registration of acquired location using local database service. The proposed system also takes into account the financial aspect and accessibility of equipment as a prerequisite for the success of the network.
