Abstract (EN)
Our study analyzes difference feminism on the works of Luce Irigaray. In the first part of our study basic concepts of feminism and historical background of feminism are mentioned. The second part of the study discusses the difference feminism of Luce Irigaray. The second part also discusses the concepts Irigaray puts forward and problematizes such as representation, subjectivity, identical, difference, sex(gender) difference, similarity, the other, language, etc. In consideration of these concepts, the contributions of Irigaray on feminist thinking are interpreted. Furthermore, the relationship between Irigaray's approach and psychoanalysis based upon Freud and Lacan is indicated and the possibility of a new feminine discourse by destroying masculine discourse is discussed. On the other hand, the relationship between Irigaray's philosophy and some philosophers (like Plato, Hegel, Nietzsche, Freud, etc.) seen as the representations of masculine discourse is emphasized. Lastly, the conclusion gives a brief overview of the study.
