The place of Ludwig Milde (1849-1913) Concert Studies Op. 26 Nos. 1-25 Vol. I in the Bassoon literature and their analysis

Ludwig Milde has written several methods which are worldwide famous and nowadays still usefull. Most important of which are; ?Orchesterstudien für Fagott? and "Akkordzellegung für Fagott". The educational value was first approved after the war in 1945. The basic aim of this study is to introduce their indispensable place in the basssoon education and literature.There are many exercises and study books written for basson: Ludwig Milde, Julius Weisenbornun, Etiyene Ozi, Anton Slama, Karel Pivonka, Luici Gatti, Eugene Bozza, Marius Piard. However, it is discorevered that in previous works, Ludwig Milde exercises are widely used to develop musical thinking and flexibility. The reason of it is that it shows the properties of the romantic period in which it has been written, besieds its intelligible lyric-like phrase and rich harmonic structure. Furthermore we have converted these pieces which were written as concert studies into chamber music format for bassson repertoire. Compared to the exercises of composer like Luigi Gatti and Marious Piard which are intended to create technical control, it is communicable that Milde's exercises are intended for building up a healthy breathing technique, besides finger technique.
