ABSTRACT MSc THESIS EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF PRESSURE LOSSES IN ORIFISMETER, VENTURIMETER AND NOZZLE GÜRCAN GÜRSOY DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INSTITUTE OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF ÇUKUROVA Supervisor : Asst.Prof.Dr. Ahmet PINARBAŞI Year: 1999, Pages: 102 Jury : Assoc.Prof.Dr. Kadir AYDIN : Assoc.Prof.Dr. Orhan BÜYÜKALACA In this study; effect of Reynolds number and flowmeter geometry on wall static distribution in the direction of flow, coefficient of volume flow rate and the pressure losses through the orifice, venturi and flow nozzle into the circular pipe were studied experimentaly.
