Abstract (EN)
The study area is located in Central Taurus (Madenköy / Niğde). Most of the mineralizations are located in the northern wing of the anticline overturned north of the bolkardag marble. The host rocks were examined under two groups, and these are dyke-type igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks, usually marble character, cut by these rocks. Rare earth elements (REE) and tectonomagmatic discrimination diagrams of felsic intrusive rocks collected from the drillings indicate that these felsic intrusive samples are formed in the volcanic arc (active continental margin) tectonic environment. The primary mineralization in the study area consists of sulfide minerals consisting of Pyrite, chalcopyrite, molybdenite sphalerite, galena. Secondary mineralizations consist of oxidized and carbonated minerals such as anglezite, serusite, hydrozinkite, and limonite together with smitsonite. Au minerals are located in limonites. These mineralizations are accompanied by calcite and quartz. The mineralizations are located within the karstic cavities that develop due to tectonism and the forties on the edges of them. Sulfur isotope analyzes were performed on the galena mineral in order to determine the origin of the sulfur forming the ore minerals. According to the results of the analysis, 34S% values in galena samples vary between 4.7 and 7.00. The values of 206Pb / 204Pb (the ratio of 206Pb from 238U to 204Pb) vary within a very narrow range (18.998-18.563). The mineralization in Bolkardağ region is thought to be primarily hydrothermal in origin, the mineralizations that make up the mineralization are mainly related to Horozköy granite-granodiorite, and they take their current position due to the oxidation and sulfurization of sulphide mineralization.
