Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of protective oils ( SAE 30, SAE 40, 10W/40, 20W/50, HD 68, HD 46 ) have been examined over aluminium, copper, steenless steel, brass and lead. The volatile substance content altering by the time, viscosity, density, pH changes, steady state potentials in these oils have been investigated. Moreover, the potential changes in %3,5 NaCl solution was also determined. Besides, the changes of corrosion rates of the metals in the oils altering by the time was measured. At first, the metal samples have been placed in the oils for 10 days, then they were transfered in %3,5 NaCl solution to measure the changes in corossion behaviour by the end of the 10. day. In the performed work, it might be appreciated that protective oils prevent the corrosion.
