Abstract (EN)
Human beings are constantly moving from one point to another, from past to present, within the scope of some basic needs. The desire to provide comfortable, fast, economical and reliable transportation has ensured that this service is always open to improvement. Achieving this development in a sustainable way is achieved by protecting resources and transferring them to future generations and increasing the sustainable transportation network. In the study, micromobility analysis and route planning were carried out in sustainable urban transportation in Manisa province. In addition to the existing bicycle paths in the city center, a micromobility road network was also designed. Various designs were made after determining that they were suitable for micromobility road design, taking into account the general characteristics of the city, climate, topographic structure, demographic characteristics and transportation alternatives. A public survey was consulted for the design of the micromobility road, which is designed to reduce the use of motor vehicles over short and medium distances. The second of the two routes designed was popularly preferred. In addition, information was collected by analyzing the survey with graphics to learn the city residents' perspective on micromobility vehicles and measure their needs. By examining the designed route, eight types were created according to road width and slope criteria were examined. It has been observed that the slope meets the regulations. Existing cross-sections have been drawn separately for all types. The cross-section of the micromobility road designed by narrowing the refuges, pavements and roadways is also shown. The approximate cost of the route has been calculated. As a result, the application of this micromobility road design, which is sustainable, environmentally friendly and economical, compatible with public transportation and will reduce motor vehicle traffic density, to the city center is compatible with the characteristics of the city and when approximate calculations are made, it is seen to be in compliance with the regulation.
