Abstract (EN)

Personnel selection is an important decision making process in human resources management. Choosing the right personnel to the right job is the mest important task of human resources management to ensure long term sustainability. The aim of this thesis is to assess the performance of blue collar personnel selection process by using two different multi criteria decision-making models, which are Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy TODIM respectively. For this purpose, the process of selecting personel who is in closest position to be the foreman to the staff through the staff who works in a manufacturing company operating in them anufacturing sector is has been evaluated by means of Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy TODIM methods and during these lection process these methods are compared with the points that staff has had in the last one year. As a result, Fuzzy TOPSIS method has been determined to indicate the most proximate results to the performance points. The findings of research highlight that Fuzzy TOPSIS method is more effective than Fuzzy TODIM method, in terms of given criteria and alternatives.
