Abstract (EN)

The study about isolation of bio-active molecules from plant materials, determination of their structure and investigation of usability in pharmacology and drug industry is being attracted by many researcher day by day. In this study, the antiproliferative (against HeLa cells) and antibacterial (ESBL E. Coli, E. Faecalis, K. Pneumoniae, MRSA, P. aeuroginosa) activities were determined using plant extracts of the upper parts of the cultivated plant samples Echinacea pallida, Melissa officinalis, Hypericum perforatum, popularly known as mountain tea Salvia and Sideritis genus. According to the obtained data, it was determined that Mountain tea against MRSA was the largest zone diameter of H. perforatum against E. faecalis; It was determined that all plant extracts against E. coli, K. pneumoniae and P. aeuroginosa were ineffective at a concentration of 4 mg / ml. Minimum MIC values for minimum inhibitor concentrations was determined for E. faecalis in H. perforatum (MIC 1.5 mg / ml), ESBL for E. coli, K. pneumoniae and MRSA, E. pallida, M. officinalis, Salvia and Sideritis species (MIC 6.25-3.12 mg / ml), and all plant extracts for P. aeuroginosa had the same value (MIK 6.25 mg / ml). High activity was observed in plant extracts against HeLa cells, while higher activity was obtained in some fractions. In addition, quantitative phenolic determinations were made with the chemical contents of these fractions. The highest value was determined as eupatorin (1.40 g / kg) in M. officinalis plant
