Prof. Dr. Sedat KARDAŞ 2024, Pages: 215 After the martyrdom of his uncle Hz. Hamza, Hz. Muhammad asks Suheyb-i Rumi to tell the heroism of Hz. Hamza in order to encourage people to jihad. These narratives, which became widespread among the Arabs, first passed into Persian literature and then into Turkish literature. These stories, especially decorated with religious motifs in Turkish literature, were written down for the first time in the 14th century by Hamzavi, the brother of the poet Ahmedi. Hamza-names, which reflect the characteristics of Old Anatolian Turkish, have a rich narrative in terms of content. This thesis aims to transcribe the entire 64th volume of Hamza-nâme, which is written in prose in Old Anatolian Turkish, has the copy date H. 1191/ M. 1777, the inventory number 06 Mil Yz A 7599, and consists of 115 leaves in the Ankara National Library Manuscripts Collection, and to present it to the benefit of researchers. This study consists of an introduction and three basic sections. After giving information about Hamzavi's life and works in the first part, the 64th volume of Hamza- nâme was introduced in the second part, the review section. In the third chapter, the copies of the work were described and the text of the work was transcribed. The study was completed with a "Conclusion" section containing the evaluations made about the thesis, "Proper Nouns Index" and "Copyprint" sections. Key Words: Hz.
